Program Manager, OEM Sales

Job Description

This position will be responsible for managing various programs for the OEM Sales team, supporting multiple customers.

* Working with GM OEM Sales on special projects and initiatives that cross multiple customers or are in need of special attention due to various circumstances.

* Responsible for assigned accounts including day to day management, strategic direction and P&L management.

* Provide market intelligence by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing internal and external data and trends.

* Represent OEM Sales and manage information from internal meetings where input and execution is required with customers.

* Provide direct support to GM OEM Sales to organize and prioritize activities commitments, and milestone achievement on a global basis.

* OEM sales liaison with business units, finance, shared services, and engineering

* Organize and maintain account performance metrics including\:

* DMO Goals and objectives

* Profitability

* OEM Scorecarding

* Business Unit Review reporting

* Manage various cost reduction customer focused programs

* 10% Challenge, Int10sity, CCI and CMP initiative Metrics

* Conduct regular meetings – internal and with customer

* Track idea generation and performance tracking

* Facilitate project management activities as appropriate

* Report monthly progress to goal

QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Sales or Marketing; MBA preferred

* Minimum of 8 years of product management, sales and marketing experience with OEMs strongly preferred

* Automotive / Commercial vehicle industry experience strongly preferred

* At least 5 years of experience supervising teams/managing cross-functional teams strongly preferred

* Two years of experience in corporate roles preferred

* Strong communication and presentation skills required

* Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Powerpoint)

* Travel 10-20% as needed
