Job Title: CT Technologist

Unit: Imaging Department

Shift: Day shift, 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:00)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Trinidad, Colorado

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our imaging department. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical professionals to use in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring patient safety and comfort during the process
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Monitor patients during procedures and adjust equipment as necessary to ensure the best images are obtained
• Ensure all necessary images are obtained for diagnosis
• Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding patient care and imaging results
• Maintain equipment and ensure it is in proper working order
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols, including radiation safety
• Maintain patient records and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the highest quality patient care

Requirements:

• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT
• Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
• A minimum of one year of experience as a CT Technologist
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions in high-pressure situations
• Willingness to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed
