We have an immediate opening for Service Dispatcher. This position requires someone who is a self-driver, able to spot problems and find solutions, someone who holds themselves accountable for a high quality work product. This position holds significant weight for developing a great customer experience so this person must have a positive attitude, a smile in their voice and a professional demeanor. Primary Job Function: Maintain the service technician's daily schedules and dispatch the technicians as service calls are completed. Schedule return trips with customers when parts are in. Maintain the on call schedule for service technicians. Maintain customer database with current information. Clear, concise and diplomatic communications with department managers, co-workers and customers, including keeping customers appraised as to company schedule and requested lead-times. Provide accounting with maintenance contract billing information. Prepare service invoices, reports and timecards for processing.

Pay Scale: $17.00 per hour, or DOE

Work Hours: 7:45am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, some overtime as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Experience with scheduling software
  • Experienced in answering multiple line phone system
  • Prior dispatching, scheduling, process management or project management experience required
  • Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills
  • Experience with mapping is a plus
  • Knowledge of industry is preferred
  • Service related industry experience a must
  • Reliable
