Human Resources Business Partner - Distribution Center (298004-635)

* Develop and execute strategic HR initiatives relating to recruitment, retention, training and development, compensation, benefits and workers' compensation/safety.

* Serve as an advocate on behalf of all associates, solicit and listen to associate concerns and take an active role in solving problems.

* Provides information about benefits, compensation, training and other associate programs and services.

* Provide consultation and support to managers on associate relations issues and applicable company policies and employment laws.

* Ensure compliance with local, state and federal employment laws and regulations.

* Conduct investigations for employment-related claims and provide investigation and consultation support to managers, addressing associate conduct performance issues.

* Work with Tracy management and Techny Human Resources to assess needs and to design and develop organization structures and talent plans.

* Work with recruitment associates to develop strategies to attract high quality diverse candidates who will contribute to success.

* Work with Techny HR to execute compensation, benefits and savings programs.

* Work with Crate and Barrel's Education and Development group to create and deliver training and development programs across the Tracy facility.

Required Skills

* College degree

* Excellent reading, basic arithmetic and written language skills

* Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and leadership abilities

* 2-3 years Human Resource management experience

* 1-2 years operational management experience preferred

* 1-2 years facilitator/trainer experience in a retail environment preferred

* Functional expertise in compensation, management, associate development and organizational change

* Strong analytical skills

* Position is located in Tracy, CA
