Job Overview

Disassemble, Inspect, and measure large engine component parts for assembly

Responsibilities

* Disassemble large engines and component parts according to requirements.

* Learn core part numbers

* Operate torch, presses, and air tools

* Inspect, measure, and repair large engine component parts

* Wash all products

* Fill out receivable tickets & Transfer sheets

* Determine course of action with failures Adhere to all safety standards

* Advise team leader of any safety issues

* Maintain quality requirements and efficiencies

* 5S audit and daily checklist

* Rotate and cross train for self-training and help train others as needed

* Continuous improvement/Process Improvement (give suggestions)

* Use daily discomfort log and report sickness/injury (no matter how slight)

* Attend daily and weekly huddles and give input)

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Attached resume required

* Ability to rotate and cross train

* Prior mill and lathe work a plus

* Established competencies in gauging

* Ability to collaborate as a team member and work independently

* Ability to set up and operate mill, lathe, and grinder

* Established high performance record

* High level of attention to detail absolutely critical

* Established satisfactory attendance record and performance rating

* Great interpersonal and communication skills

* Able to perform repetitive and lift 20-35 lbs. repetitively

* Able to manipulate greater than 50 lbs occasionally

* Able to stand for long periods
