AR Clerk - Temp

Superior Group is looking for an AR Clerk for our client in Thousand Oaks, CA on a Temporary assignment. Specific responsibilities include providing general support to Accounts Receivable department.
  • Provide customer invoices
  • Create and distribute customer statements
  • Assist with customer returns
  • Insure customer return paperwork is complete
  • Research customer accounts
  • Work with other departments to resolve issues
  • Assist in the maintenance of customer accounts
  • Assist in collection calls of customer accounts
  • Assist AR Department with other miscellaneous duties

    Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to use 10-Key calculator by touch.
  • Professional interpersonal and telephone skills required.
  • Advanced computer skills with MS-Word and Excel required.
  • Ability to read, understand and retain working knowledge of procedures and company documents.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. A minimum of 2 years experience in accounts receivable and basic / entry level bookkeeping skills.
    Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
    Experience with account reconciliation a plus.
