Requirements for Applying

Under general supervision, to perform skilled work in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) work in the maintenance, alteration, repair, and the occasional new construction of equipment and structures. The distinction of this class from the classification of HVAC technician is that the work assigned the incumbent to perform is one the master level in the HVAC trade.

Education and Experience Required Education: High School Diploma or the equivalentExperience: At least five (5) years of experience performing HVAC work or have completed an apprenticeship training program and two (2) years working as a HVAC Tech.Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing:TB Test ClearanceCriminal Justice Fingerprint ClearancePass District Test California Driver's License Valid EPA Certification in Universal Refrigeration

* Certification (Valid EPA Certification in Universal Refrigeration)

* Resume (Experience: At least five (5) years of experience performing HVAC work or have completed an apprenticeship training program and two (2) years working as a HVAC Tech.)
