Position Description

The Training Specialist will assess the need of training in all Southern areas of the company including Hotel, Beverage and Restaurants.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

NOTE: Traditions Spirits, Inc. ® may change the requirements of this job description at any time. These include, but are not limited to the following:

* Embodies Traditions Spirits Mission, Vision, and Core Values

* Assess training needs as they relate to each location

* Facilitate Orientation and Employee Training for all Southern locations including Hotel, Beverage and Restaurants and documenting all training

* Facilitate Alcohol Compliance Education training in accordance with TIPs and the Chickasaw Nation

* Facilitate ServSafe Training in accordance with the National Restaurant Association and the Chickasaw Nation

* Responsible for maintaining the Train the Trainer program for Southern locations: Interviewing new lead candidates/hosting train the trainer classes/completing and handing out trainer evaluations for all new trainees and documenting all training

* Facilitate Manager and Supervisor classes and document all training

* Assess training material, such as training manuals, and keep them up to date

* Responsible for maintaining an inventory of all training materials and submitting to accounting monthly

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

NOTE: These include, but are not limited to the following (additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary):

* Responsible for developing new training material and making sure current classes stay relevant.\

* Responsible for developing training material for Schoox and working with the marketing department on the implementation of the program

* Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person

* Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork

* Assist Human Resources department when needed in daily office duties

* Uniforms and/or clothing should always be business professional

* Create and support an environment based on "Teamwork" by helping fellow employees or guests without a second thought

* Superior attendance and punctuality

* Attendance in mandatory meetings, training, workshops, and/or seminars

* Adhere to organization policies and procedures

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDES EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE):

* Must be 21 years of age or older

* Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Expert computer skills, ability to compose and create reports, letters, memos, and procedures

* Mature judgment and professionalism in handling all matters

* Required knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as managing files and records and other office processes, procedures, and terminology

* Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing

* Excellent math skills

* Excellent organization and problem-solving skills

* Knowledge of InfoGenesis software

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

* Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, carries and pushes

* Lifts and carries supplies, and cases, weighing up to 20 lbs

* Essential hand/eye coordination

* Work is normally performed in a typical interior restaurant/bar/casino work environment

* Noise level is moderate to high

* Moderate or high exposure to cigarette smoke when on property

* Limited exposure to physical risk

* Moderate physical effort required

* TMJ
