The Role:

The District Director of Compliance Reporting and Accreditation Support directs the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of compliance reporting and accreditation support, including establishing and administering strategic operations for this major, district-wide function at the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD). Working with the Associate Vice Chancellor for Strategy, Research, and Effectiveness, the District Director will provide leadership in the development and implementation of district-wide compliance reporting and accreditation support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • 40% Provide organization-wide oversight and administration of compliance reporting for 10 colleges and the district office for federal (including but not limited to Institutional Review Board and IPEDS), state, internal, and accreditation related compliance.
  • 30% Provide organization-wide oversight and administration of accreditation support.
  • 20% Drives, jointly with the Associate Vice Chancellor, the tactical and strategic planning of compliance reporting and accreditation support in collaboration and coordination with College IR/E Directors and internal and external stakeholders.
  • 10% Plans, organizes, assigns, supervises, reviews and evaluates the work of staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's Degree in education, organizational development, data science, psychology or directly related field and four years of experience in areas such as planning, developing, implementing, administering and evaluating Institutional Effectiveness or Research Departments which experience includes two years of management and supervisory experience.

OR

Bachelor’s Degree in education, organizational development, data science, psychology or directly related field and six years of experience in areas such as planning, developing, implementing, administering and evaluating Institutional Effectiveness or Research Departments which experience includes two years of management and supervisory experience.

OR

Associate’s Degree in education, organizational development, data science, psychology or directly related field and eight years of experience in areas such as planning, developing, implementing, administering and evaluating Institutional Effectiveness or Research Departments which experience includes two years of management and supervisory experience.

OR

High school diploma or G.E.D. and (10)  ten years of experience in areas such as planning, developing, implementing, administering and evaluating Institutional Effectiveness or Research Departments which experience includes two years of management and supervisory experience.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated experience providing organization-wide oversight and administration of compliance reporting for federal (including but not limited to Institutional Review Board and IPEDS), state, internal, and accreditation related compliance in a multi-campus or multi-college system.
  • Demonstrated experience providing organization-wide oversight and administration of accreditation support in a multi-campus or multi-college system accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
  • Experiencing driving the tactical and strategic planning of compliance reporting and accreditation support in collaboration and coordination with College IR/E Directors and internal and external stakeholders in a multi-campus or multi-college system.
  • Demonstrated experience planning, organizing, assigning, supervising, reviewing and evaluating the work of staff.
