Title: Front Desk Team Member

Position Summary: Front Desk Team Member will greet and direct members, guest and staff as they enter the facility. As a member of the sales team at Crunch Fitness, you will also be responsible for promoting and selling memberships and services to potential new members and upgrades to current gym members. You will provide exceptional customer service and assistance to all guests and member requests/inquires while performing various administrative duties as needed by the General Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct daily facility walk around to ensure the cleanliness of the facility
Enthusiastically greet (Hello & Good Bye) each member and guest promptly to create a welcoming and friendly environment for all members and guest.
Properly check in members and guests
Answer phones in a professional and courteous manner, use proper phone etiquette and greeting techniques and track all telephone inquires in the Telephone Inquiry Log
Promptly respond to all member requests, inquiries and concerns and if necessary pass along the request to a manager.
Attend all required training and meetings.
Generate appointments through member referrals, networking, formal presentation, public demonstrations, master systems and phone calls
Conduct gym tours to guests and potential members
Maintain accurate records of all appointments, referrals, sales prospects and promotions. Complete all necessary paperwork as required.
Follow up on prospects, conduct gym tours for all prospects, and enroll them in a gym membership.
Stay up-to-date on company pricing and promotions
Promote and sell as directed other services and Crunch Fitness products
Follow proper opening and closing procedures according to Crunch Fitness Standards.
Work when scheduled and follow all Crunch Fitness attendance policies and procedures.
Completion of cleaning checklist for every scheduled shift.
Other duties assigned as needed.
High School Diploma or GED required
Must become Crunch-U certified within 2 weeks of hire
Must become dotFIT certified within 30 days of hire
Must be able to generate, maintain and demonstrate a friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude
Strong customer service skills
Must have a high level of professionalism, honesty, integrity and work ethic
Fitness industry and customer service experience is a plus!
