D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Sales and Marketing Assistant for their Sales Department AND their Design Center Department. The right candidate will support Sales and Marketing and Design Center departments by administering various tasks and projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* MLS Duties

* Enter new listings in MLS

* Daily duties to keep MLS current:

* Monitor sales announcements- change status to pending

* Cancellations – change status to active

* Withdrawns – change status to withdrawn

* Upload Quick Move-in homes to corporate website

* Monitor Complete Spec Report once per week

* Monitor the Actual and Projected Closings report three times per week

* Change all MLS and Quick Move-in pricing weekly

* MLS corrections/changes/courtesy notices; monitor our listings to make sure we aren't committing fineable offences

* Map overlays in Google Earth for our newer communities so we can get the most accurate lat/long.

* Realtor.com & Zillow.com monitoring and mapping

Design Center Role:

* Enter specs into DHISales as per layouts supplied by Design Consultant

* Check all new sales contracts to ensure accuracy and communicate errors to the sales team for adjustments if needed

* Update and refine PowerPoints and design tools for sales use

* Order Samples for sales office boards

* Scan and upload documents

* Organize and update files and paperwork as needed

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
