THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR CURRENT STATE PERSONNEL SYSTEM EMPLOYEES ONLY

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

Examines for statutory compliance all papers filed with regard to candidates and committees.

Provides direction and guidance to candidates and committees filing campaign treasurer reports, annual reports, and other reports via the Electronic Filing System (EFS) as required by Chapter 106, Florida Statutes.

Records all activity connected with each candidate and committee in the database.

Communicates both verbally and through written correspondence with candidates, legislators, attorneys, campaign treasurers, county Supervisors of Elections, other state agencies, and the general public.

Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent

Administrative, clerical or job related experience

Customer service experience

Data entry experience

Experience using Microsoft Word

Experience preparing correspondence and/or reports

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of administrative practices & office procedures.

Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Ability to prepare correspondence.

Ability to communicate effectively.

Ability to investigate subject matter and prepare replies.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to review information for statutory compliance

PEREFFERED (NOT REQUIRED) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Call center experience

Ability to speak Spanish
