Position Description

SRCTec is currently seeking a high-energy senior quality engineer who is passionate about solving problems, using proven quality tools to drive improvements and to achieve results within a dynamic electronics manufacturing environment.


  • Leading effective root cause analysis for complex electronic applications where little precedent exists
  • Reducing time from problem discovery to action by data transformation and report automation
  • Routinely applying statistical analysis to manufacturing processes and failure data
  • Setting and meeting deadlines to implement corrective actions that drive constant improvement
  • Applying a flexible approach to compliantly remove barriers and challenges to production
  • Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of the organization
  • Facilitation and presentation of information in a group setting
  • Building and leveraging relationships with customers and DCMA to resolve quality inquiries and concerns
  • Working autonomously with minimal supervision in a matrixed organization

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's in engineering discipline (electrical or aerospace preferred)
  • 6+ years’ related work experience
  • Familiarity with complex electronics assembly and test
  • Certification and active application of structured problem solving (Shainin, DMAIC)
  • Proficiency with statistical software (Minitab or Advanced MS Excel)
  • Familiarity with electronics assembly (IPC / J-STD) Standards (SMT, circuit card assembly/test a plus)
