PC Support Specialist

SUNY Upstate Medical University Syracuse, NY
Install, troubleshoot and repair PC hardware and software applications. Installations include new devices, departmental moves and migrations from existing computers. Research and resolve hardware and software problems as necessary. Troubleshoot connectivity problems with client devices, network printers, files servers and host systems. Experience with Windows 2000/XP/Vista/2007/2010, MS office, and host connectivity packages in a Novell NDS and Windows Server environment. Assist employees/customers with computer related questions.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of one year of experience to include PC support and customer service or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Work days:

Monday - Friday, 8:00a-5:00p. Must be available for on-call.
