The Chemical Dependency Counselor/Therapist performs assessments which include the identification of cultural differences in planning for patient care; provides treatment according to assignment to adults (and adolescents when appropriate) according to accepted standards; incorporates knowledge and theoretical concepts into all facets of interaction with patients; demonstrates competency in the provision of service; formulates diagnostic impressions; determines the appropriate level of care; provides appropriate referral for follow up; documents clearly, concisely and according to policy. Job Requirements: A minimum of a Bachelor#s degree in a related field or High School Diploma/GED, CASAC, and 4 years experience in the field of Chemical Dependency.#Must have BLS (Basic Life Support) certification at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire.
