The Medical Practice Transformation Analyst will be assigned to work on projects in order to identify opportunities to improve Medical Practice processes and procedures across the organization in an effort to understand, document and identify solutions for deficiencies in our current processes and systems. This includes forecasting and identifying trends to determine areas for improvement.

Responsibilities

* Completes fact-based assessment of current business processes and creates solutions with supporting documentation for the following areas: problem statements, process flows, process and performance gap analyses, and solution recommendations.

* Key member of transformation team that performs onsite practice operational assessments to drive operational excellence in each practice and across all Mednax operations

* Leads analysis and design of existing and new business processes that span multiple areas of the organization

* Develops scalable processes to support and benefit the vision of the organization.

* Develop standardized and process specific metrics and reporting tools that can be used to measure effectiveness and efficiencies of processes or systems. Helps to define success metrics for each new system or process and establishes a plan to track, monitor, and measure the success of those metrics.

* Review all current workflow processes, recommend improvement opportunities, and provide financial impacts and risk assessments to executing process change.

* Provide expertise with business process modeling techniques to incorporate new business drivers and roles and responsibilities within a project

* Extensive knowledge and use of Business Process Modeling, Mapping, Analysis and Design

* Identifies process gaps and organizational inefficiencies using process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and Business Process Re- engineering.

* Applies analytical methods and techniques to assess the information exchange requirements for the organization

* Documents business process solutions using industry standard flowcharting and documentation conventions

* Develops and implements quantitative and qualitative methods for measuring the impact of process improvement initiatives.

* Translates business needs into analytics/reporting requirements, and interfaces with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of end-user reporting solutions.

* Decomposes Medical Practice procedures and processes into specific steps, defines current state along with future business and system workflows.

* Develops queries, perform data analysis and identify trends

* Conducts cost-benefit analysis and proof-of-concept

* Performs industry and Practice benchmarking and best practices review

* Develops recommendations based on thorough quantitative analysis and best practices

* Works as part of a collaborative team to achieve goals around project assessment and prioritization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

2 years of related experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or Business Process Re-engineering

Ability to effectively work in a team environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Up to 75% travel
