We are seeking a Sr. Manager for Technical Program Management (TPM) and Business Intelligence (BI) to lead our Product Questions and Answers programs at Alexa Shopping. You will be leading a team of TPMs and BIEs shaping our product directions and technical strategy by coordinating, developing and launching new product Q&A experiences that meet an ever-increasing quality bar. You and your team will define, measure and improve both questions understanding and answer quality metric across various Alexa and Amazon retail, as well as build new Alexa experiences that delight our customers every day. You will define new customer experience quality metrics, automate and scale current ones, while raising the bar on Alexa’s privacy and trust. You will also own our data pipelines, including data analysis, business intelligence & analytics and real-time and offline reporting. Hence, this role requires working closely with business, engineering, science, operations, design and Alexa and Amazon Consumer leadership to deliver your goals. You will lead high visibility program collaborating with various teams across Amazon and will own regular communication with senior leadership on technology, dependency management, risk mitigation and program health.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience
10+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industry, including hands-on management of large, cross-functional software efforts
Ability to conceptualize complex interrelated applications and system platforms, as well as the ability to effectively communicate those systems to non-technical team members and business partners
Strong bias for action and a “get it done“ attitude
Experience of working with remote teams
· A Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
· Background in distributed systems and machine learning
· Background and experience in Natural Language Understanding and speech systems
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information and negotiate tradeoffs with a variety of audiences
· Experience in driving multiple, cross-functional teams
