Description

This position will help meet the training and safety organization's need to develop and maintain standards for safety, training, curriculum, and overall organizational success. This individual will become the gatekeeper for all process documentation and deliverables for the construction organization. In partnership with the training team, this individual will help develop curriculum, train-the-trainers, and analyze training completion through data pulls and tracker creation. This individual will partner with the safety manager and coordinators to continue to build on the safety program and maintain standards. In addition, this person will be responsible for delivering monthly updates to the organization about changes or reminders on process information. This individual will be the liaison between engineering and construction to ensure the construction standards aligned with all new process standards for engineering, as well as the quality control coordinator for issues that arise within the organization. The contributions this individual will make to the overall success of the organization will be immense. The organization is in desperate need of a person who can produce analytical data in a simple to consume fashion to help improve processes and drive success in the business.

What you will do:

  • Liaison between engineering and construction to ensure the construction standards aligned with all new process standards
  • Partner with other WIN organizations including L&D and leadership to develop
    curriculum
  • SME for all construction organizations processes and procedures
  • Monitor compliance, perform analysis, identify opportunities/corrective actions for Safety & Training department
  • Analyze systems/processes to identify opportunities for improvements
  • Define requirements, lead UAT, document and deliver training, and provide support for process, system, and tool enhancements
  • Define success metrics and reporting requirements
  • Provide recurring leadership updates
  • Manage training projects to complete deliverables within the targeted timeframes required by the business needs; maintain ongoing communications throughout the project with business owners, subject matter experts, project managers and the training team.
  • Facilitate training project meetings and focus groups to assess needs and gather information for training content
  • Conduct train-the-trainer sessions to prepare trainers to facilitate training sessions using the materials developed.
  • Evaluate training solutions to measure their effectiveness in meeting the business needs (performance objectives).
  • Contribute to the training department's collective knowledge and skills in performance development and curriculum evaluation through professional memberships, seminars, independent research, and other self-development activities.

Do you have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to rapidly adjust to project changes
  • Experience with online development tools such as Adobe Captivate
  • Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles applied to training materials, classroom activities and online learning
  • Project management skills and experience.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: College degree and 5-7 years professional level experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience; or 9 years professional level related experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
