Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):

Bachelor's Degree (foreign equivalent or higher). In lieu of the degree, an Associate's Degree and two (2) years of directly related experience or four (4) years of directly related experience may be considered. Two (2) years of full time directly related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a Higher Education environment. Experience with event registration/management systems (Cvent, Lanyon, etc.). Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions or a similar Student Information System.

Brief Description of Duties:

This position is responsible for supporting the University's E-commerce needs, including Event Management, and for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Campus Card Office. The selected candidate will have excellent communication skills.

Commerce/Event Management System:

This position will be the main point of contact for the University's Event Management system – currently Cvent. The incumbent be responsible full lifecycle of event registration on the campus:

  • Receive and prioritize requests for event setup and reporting
  • Develop the same in concert with on-campus technical resources as appropriate.
  • Ensure that campus guidelines are followed and that all applicable standards (PCI-DSS, FERPA, etc.) are met.
  • Provide reports to end-user departments on registrations, which may be revenue-bearing.
  • Work with the Office of the Bursar to ensure timely posting of revenue from the event management system to the appropriate internal accounts on campus.

In concert with the Office of the Bursar, the incumbent will also provide guidance, recommendations, and support as needed for departments who wish to implement registration or e-commerce systems beyond those currently offered by the office.

Campus Card Office Support:

The incumbent will also assist in the operation of the Campus Card Office, which serves as the sole credentialing point for the Campus Community (Students, Faculty, Staff, Affiliates, Visitors, and others who may require identification):

  • Verify the identity of those requesting ID cards following campus procedures
  • Photograph campus community members using the campus' Central ID system.
  • Ensure that newly-printed IDs have access provisioned across various control systems as required.
  • Assist Campus Card Coordinators on the East and West campuses with orientations as appropriate.
  • Other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to rank and departmental mission.

Special Notes:

This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Non-Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Early mornings, and evening work may be required at times with advanced notice.
