Job Overview

To support the Event Operations team in servicing the conference planners and other departments.

Essential Functions

* Assist Planners whenever needed

* Merge Daily Event Schedule, Change Log Report and Daily Events

* Receive and Distribute Resumes and BEO's and update BEO book and Resume Folder.

* 2:00PM Check guarantees for Change Log Covers

* Booking Report---Run every Tuesday for two weeks out - Sunday-Saturday

* BEO Packet: Run every Tuesday for following Sunday –Saturday.

* Run 2-day BEO packet prior to BEO meeting at 2pm Mon/Wed/Fri

* Check daily duties in Delphi: Meeting Packets, Thank you Letters, Amenities.

* Printing coupons and meal cards as needed.

* Beginning of every month order office supplies.

* Input bookings that were assigned into Delphi and calendar.

* Manage Checkbook for Catering Rentals (Linens, Equipment, Etc.) as requested

* Attach Meeting Survey's and Captain Report's to group bookings in Delphi.

* Clerical work as needed

* Input banquet event revenue into Delphi

* Process donation requests

* Check mail box in Human Resources and deliver mail to be sent out

* Manage all in-house events

Qualifications

* Previous Hotel and/or catering experience preferred.

* Demonstrates Leadership Qualities

* Strong customer service skills

* Displays aggressive hospitality

* Communicates well as a team

* Excellent organizational skills

* Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimum supervision

* Total commitment to guest satisfaction

* Computer Skills in Word, Excel and SMS a plus. Delphi experience preferred.
