Manager Inside Sales
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to compute rates, ratio, percents for the purposes of sales reports and projections.
Processes orders for products and services, expedites and coordinates flow of work within or between internal departments. Reviews agreements or proposals for conformity to company rates, rules and regulations. Negotiates with customers, assesses areas of dispute and amends contracts as necessary. May serve as liaison with manufacturing, engineering, QA, shipping and receiving. May receive quotes and process customer orders or changes. Supervises inside sales representatives.
Manages the Customer Service/Inside Sales team.
Manages the day-to-day operations of a team of representatives that handle customer service inquiries and problems via the telephone and sometimes e-mail.
Manages Inside Sales; quotation process, order review, entry acknowledgement functions, ensure policies and procedures are followed.
Develops and monitors the application of operating systems including policies and procedures, operating structure, and information flow.
Ensures the volume of work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards.
May develop business plan for team/group operations including budget development.
Approves personnel activities concerning hiring, training/development, and evaluation of staff performance.
May build industry relations communicating technologies and operational concerns through industry networking.
Develop sales literature.
Learn from project close out feedback to improve future capabilities.
Expand job knowledge by participating in professional organizations.
Other Tasks which may fall within your expertise and knowledge as assigned by management.
Ensure the development of individuals within the organization to maintain the required qualified staff.
