Job Description

Patient Scheduling and Registration- Registers and schedules patients, efficiently and effectively, following department guidelines and procedures. Quality Administrative Support- Meets or exceeds established productivity, quality assurance and performance standards. Financial Coordination- Manages financial systems and works with patients on collection of funds. Work Flow- Coordinates coverage to ensure smooth operation within the department. Office Management- Serves as Office Manager, ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of department operations. Teamwork- Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others. Possesses respect and understanding of other disciplines.


Minimum Requirements:

Experience: 3 years experience in a registration office, physician's office, or other specialized medical setting or combination of experience/education.

AA Degree = 1 year; Bachelor's Degree = 2 years. Previous Inova experience preferred

Education: High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred

Special Skills: Effective Organizational Skills; Excellent Customer Service; Strong Interpersonal Communication Skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
