Communications Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Analyze, coordinate, and execute strategic communications plans to familiarize internal and external stakeholders with analytic tradecraft and certification programs. Manage the organization's day-to-day marketing and communications efforts. Work on the development of executive briefings and talking points alongside senior government officials. Serve as the primary author on fact sheets, pamphlets, Web site content, articles, e-mail messaging, and other communications products, as needed. Initiate, plan, execute, and report on tasks independently, as identified. Provide thought leadership and assist with implementing program goals to align the analytic workforce with future needs.

Basic Qualifications:

* 3+ years of experience in a professional work environment

* Experience with communications products, including talking points, Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, articles, and e-mails to all employees

* Experience with team building and event facilitation

* Experience with Microsoft Office, including SharePoint

* Knowledge of the IC or DoD

* Ability to be a self-starter, team player, and leader in a fast-paced consulting environment

* Ability to interact and present to a diverse range of audiences with the talent to convey complex information in a clear and simple manner

* TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

* BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

* Experience with database management

* Experience with desktop publishing

* Knowledge of competency-based assessments

* Knowledge of Intelligence Analyst (IA) and Geospatial Analyst (GA) tradecraft

* Ability to work in a team environment

* Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
