Responsibilities and Qualifications


Member Services Coordinator is responsible for the general upkeep of Mercy Life Line memberships. This position is responsible for coordinating a wide range of Membership Program projects including: Processing new member applications Preparing correspondence/pack Sending out membership renewal notices Processing membership renewals Issuing membership letters, cards and stickers Running membership queried and reports in database Sending updated new member and lapsed member list Sending lapsed member notifications Tracking all email address changes sending all address updates Database management; manage membership tracking system, daily deposits/financial audits and all office coordination and functions of the Membership Program. This person will be responsible for database management with third party billing company with daily upload and reports. This person will be in direct contact of members when needed. This person shall work with the Mercy Life Line Program Director and Member Services Supervisor-Marketing Specialist and other Life Line co-workers. The position is also responsible for the maintenance of member files which permits expedient retrieval of information by authorized staff and volunteers. This position performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

1. Responsible for the general upkeep of Mercy Life Line memberships.

2. Determines fund accounts, members tracking, and ensures the ongoing integrity of the programs database.

3. Submits reports in a timely manner as requested by the program director, members services supervisor and third-party billing company.

4. Manages the Raisers Edge constituent intake/tracking system.

5. Provides direction on the development, implementation and ongoing monitoring and revision of program guidelines.

6. Develops and maintains positive working relationships with Membership Program team members across the communities.

7. Works collaboratively with the Mercy Life Line Program Director and Member Services Supervisor, Marketing Specialist in establishing and following policies, procedures, and tips for more efficient use of all membership functions.

8. Provides support and lists for special events and other membership activities.

9. Reconciles monthly with Raisers Edge and Financial Edge.

10. Monitors database policies and procedures and budget coordination for the assigned membership functions.

11. Coordinates all membership office functions as well as other Mercy Life Line duties.

12. Wears personal protective equipment when appropriate. Observes universal precautions consistently. Wears clothing and Health System badge consistent with dress code, and attends to personal hygiene to maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance. Meets Health System attendance standards. Performs related duties as assigned.

* Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience.

* Minimum two years of experience.

* Advanced working knowledge of Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge or similar program or willing to learn.
