Our Client in Springfield, Massachusetts is seeking a Project Manager - SCRUM Master for a year-long contract role

NO CORP-TO-CORP SUBMISSIONS ACCEPTED FOR THIS POSITION. Applicants must be able to work directly for Fast Switch as a W2 Employee (US Citizens and all other parties authorized to work in the US without sponsorship are encouraged to apply).

This position is fully remote to start, but will need to be able to work onsite in Springfield when campus reopens

This individual is key to ensuring execution is monitored at team level, team maintains the factory model & provides escalation as needed. Entrenched in details of the team and will be focused on leading a critical strategic initiative(high visibility and priority)

Execution & Delivery (Team Level)

Daily monitoring of execution & progress. This includes review of jira board for the team, checking comments on issues & escalating accordingly if blocked. Partner with Delivery Lead and Tech Lead in the process/providing them insight into blocked work on the team execution.
Run daily huddle, and ensure team is on task
Facilitate & prepare sprint reviews with the team (who will do demo, what work has been accomplished, has the goal been met)
Outline and share risks/decisions and update on confluence
In order to improve execution & manage the factory model, perform retros with the team; also ensure team is adhering to team agreement
monitor slack and email constantly
manage dependencies with platform team
prep for sprint review meetings with each team slide - verifying data on the slide and making sure I know all of the details about what is happening; be prepared for questions

Reporting

Sprint Review Reporting
update at the beginning of each sprint, the sprint dashboard and the prod support dashboard

Coaching:

Coach team on items like sprint dashboard - ensuring work is complete, subtasks, unplanned work
Build hierarchy in Jira with Senior Scrum Master in USA
Coaching to ensure grooming improves
Jira set up and use

Planning:

work on sprint capacity updates based on the calendar
being informed and involved in future requirements that need to be brought in
update at the beg of each sprint, the sprint dashboard and the prod support dashboard
update the one page reports on non planning week to prep for current sprint updates
