Job Overview

Performs credit risk analysis, develops risk models, and stay current with credit risk industry. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs ongoing analysis of the company's various credit programs
  • Assists in developing and monitoring metrics for company credit programs
  • Completes quarterly static pool analysis
  • Develops and prepares profitability analysis, credit loss analysis, and credit loss forecasts on credit programs
  • Determines conclusions, presents analysis, and recommended actions
  • Develops operational reports to monitor credit performance
  • Monitors business performance
  • Coordinates preparation and presentation of analysis to applicable personnel
  • Works with third party vendors, manages current products, reviews potential future products and coordinates integration of approved products
  • Maintains relationship with other departments to obtain data
  • Assists other departments as required
  • Prompt and regular attendance is required

Job Requirements:

  • 3 or more years of experience in financial analysis or risk analysis
  • Experience using SQL for data analysis and data extract
  • Strong Excel skills with ability to parse and analyze large quantities of data
  • Excellent organization, analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Strong ability to communicate with all levels of the Company; field, corporate, and executive
  • Computer literate with strong MS office skills
  • Experience in consumer loan or auto finance industry a plus

Physical Requirements:This is an office position that consistently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Requires the ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Educational Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance preferred.
