Serves as physician's clerical and clinical support to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.

* Assists physician in clinic with patient care

* Answers and responds appropriately to caller's needs to include calling in prescriptions as directed by the physician

* Manages all physician's written and electronic materials and maintians patient charts

* Manages physician calendar

* Performs other related duties as assigned

* Must be computer literate. Intermediate computer skills are required.

Required Experience

* High school graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

* Two years under direct supervision of a physician or 2 years experience in a clinical setting.

* Certification/licensed in a medical profession is required. ABR-OE is preferred.

* 1 year of clerical experience preferred.

* If you are not certified, please be prepared to take the ABR-OE test and pass.
