You are often the first person that a customer, candidate or client interacts with and can enhance the Genesis brand through a positive experience. Your duties as a receptionist will include but not be limited to the following:
Answers all incoming calls professionally and courteously and redirects them appropriately.
Kindly welcomes, greets and directs patients, visitors, and guests.
Coordinates outgoing and incoming mail.
Maintains current lists of patients by name/room number and employees by names/phone extension.
Orders supplies and performs other clerical duties as assigned.

Our commitment at Genesis affiliated nursing centers is to protect the health and safety of our patients, residents and our heroic employees. In addition, we maintain an abundant supply of PPE, including N95/KN95 masks, for all who provide care and services to our patients and residents. Our multiple testing capabilities, including Point-of-Care (POC) testing, are available at every location and comply with CMS and local guidance.
High school degree or equivalent is required. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the spoken English language. Excellent communication skills required. Proficient with Google; Docs, Sheets, Slides.
