General Overview

Reporting to the PeC Solution Lead, the Solution Coordinator will work across and between PeC teams to ensure maximum integration and enterprise model adherence in the execution of an enterprise-wide initiative to develop and implement an integrated, electronic health information system at all hospitals and provider organizations across the Partners HealthCare network.

In this position, the Solutions Coordinator will have a continuum of responsibility throughout the lifecycle of the implementation, from the initial sizing and scoping phase to Go Live and command center support. He/she will support complex system processing and integration solutions across the project and will support conversations regarding PHS enterprise model, site business models, exceptions and unique landscapes. The Solutions Coordinator will troubleshoot and diagnose complex application and integrated workflow issues and assist in coordinating and leveraging resources across PeC and site teams to provide solutions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

* Participate in application placemat and integration blueprint activities.

* Work with Solution Leads and Build Managers to complete workflow and content scoping activities, using the Enterprise Model Workbook.

* Inform scoping outcomes with Build team and other stakeholders.

* Support PeC and site level workflow review sessions and drive scoping and discovery activities.

* Consult on and assist in the integration of core applications and enterprise solutions.

* Evaluate, assess and make recommendations regarding deviations from enterprise wide solutions.

* Evaluate, assess and provide context for scope change control requests.

* Work closely with the Org Readiness team, contribute to workflow content discussion and serve as subject matter expert for workflow/content questions and/or issues.

* Support Build War Room sessions to ensure build integrity and enterprise model adherence.

* Troubleshoot and resolve design issues while managing change requests and dependencies across workstreams

* Participate in test objective design sessions and ensure workflow follow-ups are complete and effectively integrated.

* Serve as PeC point of contact for site impact assessment activity and assist Instruction Designers on operations, workflows and other content related questions.

* Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree in Healthcare, Business, IT, or related; Master's degree, and/or PMP certification highly desired.

* Epic Certification(s) in one or more applications.

* Must have 5 years of relevant experience.

* Must have 3 years of experience in healthcare systems project/program management.

* Familiar with healthcare packaged software implementations and associated methodologies

* Must have experience working with large IT teams, driving conversations and decisions across multiple workstreams

* Must have experience liaising with consultants, contractors and vendors.

* Consulting services experience is a plus.

* Customer services/support experience is a plus.

* A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements.
