Job Overview

As a Director of Clinical Services you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

Essential Responsibilities of the Director of Wellness/Clinical Services are:

* Supervise Nurse Practitioner, Assistant Director of Clinical Services, Clinical Nurses, and Nurse Techs-In the absence of the Executive Director, you are charged with carrying out the resident care policies of the facility-Recruit and hire a sufficient number of qualified nursing staff to deliver efficient resident care-Prepare and adhere to an annual operating budget for the nursing department-Establish and monitor compliance with an effective medical record documentation system

Director of Wellness/Clinical Services Requirements:

* Must possess a valid license as a minimum, and LPN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university-Must have proven leadership ability with two (2) years of experience in nursing services administration preferred.-Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate skills related to management, planning and budgeting-Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to facility functions
