Application Administrator - SharePoint

Job Summary:

We are looking for a well-rounded IT professional to support the maintenance of applications as well as contribute to project efforts. The Application Administrator ensures that systems administration functions are being executed. This position is also responsible for providing business and technical support for the SharePoint environment including the operation, assessment and strategic alignment of the platform with our internal lines of business.

Essential Job Functions:

* Provide primary or secondary support responsibilities for the bank's critical applications as assigned.

* Provide system and application support to internal employees.

* Provide training and documentation for end user support as needed.

* Plan and recommend server specifications needed for assigned applications.

* Responsible to ensure that all assigned applications meet security standards as defined by the IS department.

* Effectively serve as the onsite technical and functional liaison for SharePoint portal solutions.

* Serve as the primary contact for SharePoint business content implementations.

* Work with SharePoint user base to understand business needs and build solutions to address them.

* Assist in the development and implementation of site layouts, site templates, user navigation strategies, and information/data management strategies to improve business processes through SharePoint.

* Develop and lead SharePoint users group.

* Create training plans and develop a SharePoint curriculum to train internal users on SharePoint functionality and encourage self-sufficiency.

* Helps facilitate SharePoint adoption by end users.

* Evaluate new industry software to stay current on emerging technologies and future expectations.

* Demonstrate personal commitment to excellence in service to customers and other employees.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

* Desired Certifications

* SharePoint Designer

* SharePoint Power User

* SharePoint Site Owner

* Desired Skills -

* 2+ years of experience in production application administration experience in a Windows Server environment

* Windows Systems Administration in multiple server enterprise (5 or more servers), and end user desktop support in an office environment desired.

* Must have documented experience implementing, managing and documenting a production SharePoint environment

* Must be familiar with the SharePoint security architecture and how it interfaces to Active Directory.

* Professional attitude, strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and communication skills.

* Ability to work well with senior level staff in the planning and budgeting
