This position is located in Pierre, SD
SUMMARY: A one-year experiential learning opportunity for recently trained Master's prepared graduate providing broad exposure to rural healthcare setting including acute care hospitals, long-term care facilities, clinic management, and health systems development. The fellow will participate in meetings of the Board and its committees, medical staff committees, administrative staff, and selected System committees. The fellow will be responsible for the completion of assigned projects, and for rotating through System facilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Master's degree in Health Services, Hospital Administration, Business Administration with a healthcare emphasis or Public Health is required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:
- This position requires a valid driver's license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
