The Amazon Alexa Skills Developer Marketing team is looking for a self-motivated, results-oriented Product Marketing Manager to drive the growth of our skill developer community, and to help developers understand and use new Alexa features in their skills to better serve customers. The Product Marketing Manager will own launch plans for new Alexa Skills Kit capabilities and responsibility for defining and achieving the right goals within a given developer segment. This role works with others across the Alexa organization, including product management, program management, public relations, evangelism, and consumer marketing to optimize performance.

The ideal candidate is passionate about serving the needs of both developers and customers, and has a track record of success in technology product marketing. They can translate technical features into clear customer and developer value propositions, and can build comprehensive marketing plans to reach developer segments. They have a high bar for quality and desire and ability to dive deep. They will set, measure, and achieve the right metrics for their business.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Becoming the expert on Alexa Skill developers: who they are, what customer segments they serve, how they reach customers, and how we can help them be more successful with Alexa.

* Using your developer audience and product expertise to distill key functionality and benefits into compelling value propositions and messages for the developer audience.

* Creating core content assets to tell our story, including videos, web and blog copy, and more.

* Owning developer launch work streams for new features, APIs and products, including messaging, naming, core assets, and cross-team coordination.

* Identifying opportunities to engage new developer audiences in order increase Alexa investment and adoption, and developing marketing plans to pursue these opportunities.

* Reporting metrics in our weekly business review and work with internal stakeholders to optimize our digital and in-person marketing and evangelism programs.
