The Product Manager Sr. is a key member of the Nordstrom Product Management team, championing the customer experience evolution through data-driven insights using a variety of qualitative and quantitative inputs and delivering key features, functionality and programs for Nordstrom. Product Management is responsible for making sure we build the right products and features for our customers and business. To accomplish that, product managers plan the product roadmap and prioritize the applicable technology backlog, lead product discovery, and measure and communicate results of the feature portfolio in production, all while ensuring stakeholder alignment.Key ResponsibilitiesSolid practitioner of the following competencies, requiring some day to day management support: Define Key KPI’s for product specific featuresMeasure and monitor key KPI performanceSupport root cause analysis and provide research guidanceEvaluate competitor experiencesPrioritize feature opportunities and manage a backlog within a complex and dynamic environmentRoll up complex issues for communication at different levels of the pyramidUnderstand and identify risks and impacts across technical landscapePartner with Program Management, Engineering, and cross functional teams on requirements and feature designUtilize research and usability sessions to validate feature designWork with engineering during feature development to ensure feature objectives are maintainedQualificationsMinimum 5 years’ experience of product management experience with technology or ecommerce company preferredBachelors’ degree in math, statistics, finance, economics, or related quantitative discipline is preferredAbility to define, measure and analyze processes to identify improvement opportunitiesTechnical background and understanding of software development principals.Knowledge of a/b testing fundamentalsAbility to build relationships cross-functionally with multiple teams from areas such as Analytics, Engineering and User Experience.Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsWe’ve got you covered…We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, vision and dental coverage, a fabulous merchandise discount, an employer-matched 401(k) plan, a profit-sharing plan and much more.We are an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a diverse environment.This job description is intended to describe the general nature of the work employees can expect within this particular job classification.
