Role Overview:

This person will be responsible for defining and managing the current and upcoming Product Roadmaps and Product Backlogs. Provide software leadership in the team and manage resources for current and upcoming projects based on the project timelines and priorities. The persons should also be able to constantly re-evaluate the priorities based on the customer feedback, market changes and business priorities.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

* Actively manage internal and external stakeholders.

* Manage engineering resources in the team in accordance with current project timelines and priorities.

* Define Product Roadmaps and Product backlogs for current and future products.

* Determine the product market impact and future product direction.

* Constantly re-prioritize the product backlog based on customer feedback, market changes and business priorities.

* Provide regular reporting including product scope, scheduling and planning

* Develop an understanding of the customer's need.

* Set clear vision and release plan for the products.

* Maintain an expert level for software development.

* Accept or reject the product team work results at each Sprint Review meeting

Minimum Skills Required:

* Bachelor's Degree- Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Bachelors 8 yrs / Masters 6 yrs/ PhD 3 yrs)

* Experience defining Product Backlog and Product Roadmap for the current and upcoming products in accordance with the customer requirement and market need.

* Experience developing software for automotive sub-systems or related fields.

* Application of techniques to establish, motivate and retain high performance software development and testing teams

* Facilitating knowledge transfer within the team alongside encourage and coaching a culture of knowledge sharing

* Strong understanding computer science and software development fundamentals

* Interacts and collaborates with many technical and non-technical teams cross-functionally

* Bachelor's degree in various fields of study are applicable. Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience

* 5 year Software Product development and/or Product Management experience

* Experience in software Product Development (Products having a graphical user interface is a must. Applications delivered to a mobile phone preferred.)

* Demonstrable knowledge of software development lifecycles and activities.

* A strong understanding of software Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum

Preferred Qualifications:

* Scrum Product Owner Certification and/or Scrum Master Certification is beneficial

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or MBA

* Automotive experience
