The Seattle office of Perkins Coie Trust Company is seeking a competent Investment Administrator. This position supports the Investment Team (Chief Investment Officer and Senior Investment Officers of the Perkins Coie Trust Company) in all aspects of investment management and compliance including trade execution, client reporting, maintaining corporate and client files, investment research and analysis, and performance measurement. Moreover, this position is expected to provide high-level project coordination and administrative support to the Investment Team, combining research and analytical skills with project coordination experience to enhance the team.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

* Prepare periodic reports used by the Investment Team and for the Trust Investment Committee with an emphasis on timeliness and accuracy.

* Prepare investment presentations for prospects and clients, working closely with the editing team and brand marketing to ensure compliance with corporate brand standards.

* Place trades as directed, ensuring compliance with trading and best execution policy.

* Maintain investment models on Investor's View in support of periodic portfolio rebalancing.

* Develop and maintain quality business relationships with brokers, and maintain due diligence files.

* Coordinate performance reporting with third party vendor. Maintain asset, asset classification and other account parameters to ensure quality of performance reporting.

* Maintain performance composites with input from Investment Team and provide composite reports quarterly.

* Assure compliance with performance reporting standards and composite reporting policy.

* Assist with research of market conditions, specific investments and portfolio strategies. Advise team of price alerts, corporate actions and changes in security ratings where applicable.

* Assist with proprietary quantitative analysis on defined universe of equity and fixed income securities.

* Support screening and selection of mutual funds for use in client accounts and firm's retirement plan models.

* Vote proxies and maintain records in compliance with proxy policy.

Must be a strong team player, who will thrive working in a fast paced, detail-oriented work environment, handling multiple requests that require follow through. Excellent quantitative analysis skills/able to distill relevant data. Advanced skills in Adobe, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Familiarity with investment software including Sungard, Bloomberg, Wealthstation, and Morningstar. Ability to quickly learn new technologies.

Education & Experience:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience in finance, securities operations, data analysis, investment management, brokerage, and research, or equivalent. 1 – 3 years' experience in performance measurement and trade execution. Proven track record of investment or marketing support a plus. Financial or professional services environment strongly preferred. Knowledge of financial markets, investment vehicles and strategies preferred.
