Provide support to internal and external staff; utilizing email, remote access support tools, and the phone. Candidate must have technical and customer service skills, providing phone support in a prompt and courteous manner to the end users and working closely with other support groups. This is a highly interactive position that requires good communication and patience with end users across all divisions at Ocean Beauty Seafoods. Must be willing to work flexible hours as well as on call rotation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

* Desktop support: Proficiency in Windows Client Operating System (OS) (Windows 7 & 10) troubleshooting and support

* Outlook client administration and troubleshooting

* New User Setup (install laptops, docking stations, monitors, printers, and phones) at new users' desks.

* Support employees working at remote sites and with VPN connectivity issues.

* Support computer refresh activities · image / wipe laptops

* Troubleshoot all user issues, including application issues, hardware issues, and physical network connectivity

* Active directory administration experience, including user provisioning, security monitoring, reviews, audit and compliance.

* Maintaining AD accounts, AD Groups, folders access, applications access for all end users.

* Support mobile device issues and configuration

* Use of ticketing system to manage/document user issues

* Maintain and assist the enforcement policies and procedures for system security

* Required annual travel to Alaska locations

QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum of 2 – 5 years of experience in a technical IT field and Help Desk Analyst role.

* Strong knowledge of Windows 2008/2012 server administration, server builds, troubleshooting and support

* Strong knowledge of Windows 2008/2012 NTFS and share permission, inheritance, file ownership

* Strong knowledge of Printer configuration and management

* Strong knowledge of Group Policies/Login scripts troubleshooting GPO's

* Strong knowledge of infrastructure services: DNS, WINS, DHCP

* Strong knowledge of Active Directory LDAP and Group/User object manipulation

* Able to communicate technical information in a non-technical manner to end users

* Good communication and documentation skills

* Strong ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities

* Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Ability to react quickly to a fast-paced environment
