Ultimately, Cloudfront is about solving business problems – either to increase revenue by using the data to create new digital services, or to increase efficiency by using the data to streamline operations and removing costs from operations. Customers are focused on solving business challenges, not simply connecting data and media, so they look to AWS to provide solutions to those problems.
This role is focused on our AWS EDGE Services including AWS Cloudfront, Shield, WAF and Lambda at the Edge. As a Business Development Manager, your responsibilities will focus on finding new markets for our services, working with early adopting customers, engaging with our partner ecosystem, working to build repeatable solutions for our sales team to use to delight customers and to planning for future services and solutions. In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
Contribute To Building The Go-To-Market Plan. Help define the market segments, customers, and industries. Build a strategic business development plan for the target markets and ensure it is well aligned across AWS. Execute the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. sales teams, service teams, legal, support, etc.).
Coordinate The Incubation and Launch of New Services. Be a part of the core team that works with the initial customers to ensure we have strong references at launch. Drive a plan to ensure sales and partner readiness. Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with the internal development teams to guide the direction of our product offerings.
Work With Lighthouse Customer and Partners. Build a strong pipeline of customers in key areas of the market or building new and interesting solutions. Work with these customers to become “lighthouse wins“ of success.
Strategic Business Development - Focus on complex deals and develop long-term strategic partnerships in support of our key markets.
