Job Summary/Description:

KXII is seeking a candidate to direct our fast-paced, graphic intensive newscasts. The Weekend Newscast Director may also direct secondary newscasts.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Directing over the air content such as: news, severe weather, etc.

* Running live newscast graphics

* Creating news graphics for air

* Training and leading a news production team

* Learning and working with Master Control

* Quality control over any all broadcast material

Qualifications/Requirements:

◾ The ability to work in a live, fast paced environment is required. Strong leadership skills, accuracy, attention to detail and a team oriented attitude are mandatory. College or technical degrees are strongly considered.
