Job Summary

This position is the main contact for HR matters related to the management of employment documents and administration for the assigned employee group. The position is responsible for data entry and HR program administration. The data entry component includes entering all information for new hires, terminations, hourly recruiting and other relevant changes into the HRIS system for all employees within the assigned group. The incumbent is responsible for tracking forms and spreadsheets related to HR programs. The incumbent acts as HR point person for employees and provides support for hourly recruiting. This role is also responsible for assisting with a variety of HR generalist projects related to performance management, terminations, process improvements, etc. The position may assume additional duties as assigned. The successful incumbent will be detail-oriented, handle confidential information in a sensitive manner, and work well with others. Additionally, the incumbent must be able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels throughout the organization.


  • Enter HR information (new hires, pay changes, terminations, hourly job requisitions and offers, etc.) into the HRIS system
  • Maintain and update HR forms and policies as needed
  • Responsible for Department of Homeland Security E-Verify website verifications
  • Assemble new hire packets and ensure completion of all new hire paperwork
  • Obtain drug screens and background checks for assigned employee group
  • Act as HR point person for administrative details related to assigned employee group
  • Administer termination process
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets in order to track various types of employee data and HR forms
  • Assist with various HR projects as assigned
  • Work with safety personnel to ensure compliance among employees
  • Maintain and administer all databases relevant to assigned employee groups
  • May be involved in recruiting tasks such as screening, sourcing and interviewing
  • Work with staffing agencies on an as needed basis
  • Assist with various HR projects as assigned
  • Other administrative duties as assigned
  • Responsible for all assigned Americas locations
  • Help maintain employee files


  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; PHR Certification preferred
  • 1-3 years of HR experience preferred
  • HRIS experience preferred


  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
  • Strong knowledge of an HRIS system required
  • Knowledge of HR law (FMLA, FLSA, HIPAA, etc.) preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
