Job Summary

Supervises a team of developers involved in the analysis, design, development and implementation of software applications. Determines user requirements, leads application design, plans projects, establishes priorities and monitors progress. Evaluates project status and resource utilization and implements changes to improve the team's effectiveness and ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. May coordinate with others to integrate project with other applications. Provides immediate supervision, monitors workflow, assigns tasks, goals and objectives. Participates in hiring, termination, performance and salary reviews.

This position would be part of the Big Data and Advanced Analytics team in the Enterprise Analytics group. Primary responsibility would be managing the applications and production support of the Sprint Big Data applications. Additional responsibilities would be participating in POC/POV tool and vendor evaluations and driving and leading project requirements sessions. Will assist with status reporting and forecasting. Must be interested in new and emerging technologies, Big Data, and Analytics. Both Business and IT acumen preferred. Experience in Software Development, Design and Architecture preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills required.

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree and four years related work experience or eight years related work experience post high school

* Three years experience application development

* Three years experience coding

* Two years supervisory or leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

* Degree in a programming field
