JobSummary

ConduentBusiness Services, Systems Development GTS team is seeking an experienced SoftwareQuality Assurance Analyst to support our QA/Testing team. The primaryfunction of this role will be to support all testing activities forapplications under test.

Theposition will be located in Secaucus, New Jersey, and is not eligible for anH1b transfer. The successful incumbent will report directly to the Sr. SQA andTesting Manager, Public Safety and Parking, Transportation.

Thework location for this Software QA Analyst is 200 Plaza Drive, Secaucus, NJ,and they'll report directly to the Senior SQA and Testing Manager, Public Safety and Parking, Transportation.

Job responsibilities include, but notlimited to:

Asa QA Analyst you'll be responsible for manual testing and QA analysis, TestScenarios/ Cases development and Test execution. This is a multi-year globalprogram that'll give you the opportunity to stretch your skills with an agileQA and development teams that are delivering industry leading architectureswith Rich Java UIs, dynamically configured Spring frameworks and PredictiveAnalytics.

Required education, skills and experience:

* A technical BA / BS degree QA certifications (job relevant).

* Must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer

* Must consent to and successfully clear all required pre-employment screenings

* Six (6 ) years of hands-on software development and QA experience.

* Must possess a minimum of six (6 ) years of hands-on Quality Assurance and Testing experience

* Must have proven experience in all phases of the project life cycle in QA and experience in all phases of testing.

* Must be an expert in the concepts of test process

* Experience with working within offshore/onshore models

* Experience working within government solutions domain and being familiar with Agile environment and be able to work under a tight project schedule.

* Work in a structured environment testing Database and Data Warehouse Applications and Solutions

* Waterfall/Agile/V model methodologies knowledge

* Strong knowledge and experience with JIRA, Jama and TFS.

* Working Knowledge of Mainframe Testing and Batch jobs runs and execution.

o Conversion of batch files and jobs.

* WEB testing. Mobile Testing. Android and iOS testing

* Demonstrated ability to meet schedules and multi-task across multiple projects

* A background with systems operating in a 24x7 production environment.

* Produce well-structured, documented and maintainable test scripts for manual testing that support the quality assurance test-cycle within the SDLC.

* Participates in team meetings with project team as appropriate

* Researches, understands and produces test-case scenarios and cases that validate major functional areas of application

* Participate in the development and support of the testing program aimed at supporting multiple testing efforts simultaneously

* Identify and capture test data to support the test cases defined by the testing team

* Modifies test cases scenarios as needed for new and changed business rules, functionalities and modules.

* Executes test cases in accordance with department defined test plans and procedures.

* Creates clearly documented defect reports for anomalies found during test procedures.

* Adheres to established test methodologies for validation and verification of product releases.

* Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, verbal and written)

* Proficient with Microsoft office software: Excel, Word, Windows/SQL

* Understand the business risk and implications of introducing new software or hardware into the production environment

* Activeparticipation in preparing detailed test plan preparation

* Monitorday-to-day test execution progress

* Identifyfunctional, non-functional, data & environment related testing requirements

* Ensuretraceability between requirements & test cases

* Plans,validates tests, Identifies and plans re-tests.

* Defectanalysis & tracking

* PublishDefect Report, Test results and metrics, status reports

* Ascertainsand analyzes the test environment readiness

* Ensuresteam adherence to quality standards/process and time schedule

Preferred/ Desired:

* Experience in transportation or violations processing a plus/desired

* A background in large scale transaction processing

* SQL knowledge is a plus.

* Ability to work under tight schedule.

* Experienced working with offshore team members.

* Familiarity with Agile development methods (I.e. Scrum) is highly preferred.

* Strong experience in manual testing, defect tracking and reporting

Exceptional experience in test scenario/casecreation

* Excellent attention to detail and follow-up

* Experience working in a team environment where team members are geographically dispersed.
