Amazon Web Services (AWS) is taking action on sustainability, and helping our customers do the same. We are looking for a self-motivated, customer-obsessed support specialist to join the AWS Sustainability Business Development team. As Sustainability Support Specialist, you will be joining a team of sustainability leaders working to help AWS customers accelerate their sustainability efforts. Your activities will include understanding, recording and categorizing sustainability requests, and working with internal and external customers to understand our customers’ sustainability requirements. You will help create and execute processes to handle customer requests, manage escalation of requests to teams across the business, and updating customer-facing sustainability content.

We’re looking for someone who follows sustainability news and who can apply their knowledge of environmental issues into real world scenarios. In this role, you will support senior staff in service of our customers and deliver measurable sustainability impact. This is a rare opportunity to expand your knowledge of the sustainability realm, and make a concrete contribution to the important work being done in sustainability by AWS and our customers

What we are looking for:

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Process oriented with strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities; an excellent attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelors degree from an accredited university or 2+ years of experience with Amazon

· 3+ years experience working directly with customers in a support or consulting role

· 1+ years working in the sustainability domain, such as carbon emissions tracking, renewable energy, policy, or sustainability reporting

Preffered Qualifications

· Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results

· Superior professional writing and communication skills

· Experience with workflow management processes and tooling, such as Asana

· Experience creating and managing scalable business processes

· Experience with content management systems
