We are hiring a Product Leader to own the vision and drive the end to end roadmap for Amazon Pharmacy on Alexa. The ideal candidate will create a bold vision grounded in customer obsession. They will work with a cross-functional team to conceive, develop and scale innovative customer experiences. They are adept at gaining commitment from a wide range of senior leaders across businesses. They have a track record of building products that deliver business impact. This leader defines and drives product strategy while balancing competing launch priorities and building scalable and reusable features. You will drive strategic product, business, and technology decisions and own the end-to-end customer experience of these features across tech and operations.

Key job responsibilities

  • Define a long term product strategy and vision, including new features to leverage emerging technologies to meet the needs of Amazon Pharmacy customers on Alexa.
  • Drive requirements definition, CX design, compliance, feature development priority, and product messaging.
  • Own business metrics for customer engagement, and operational reliability.
  • Evaluate technical alternatives and decompose significantly complex problems into straightforward technical propositions.
  • Design mechanisms to ensure long-term product or business success.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Preffered Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Dual education background - business and tech
  • Entrepreneurial instincts with a clear bias for informed action and a track record of leading new initiatives with limited resources and support
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data (including SQL) and metrics to back up assumptions evaluate outcomes and challenge conventional wisdom
  • Success when working across a range of teams, including Engineering, Research, UX, Legal, Finance, and Marketing
  • Knowledgeable in technology development best practices (such as Agile), and product management methodology
  • Excellent written and verbal communications to technical and non-technical stakeholders and experience presenting to very senior executives
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality; demonstrated ability to have fun and inspire team members to enjoy work, be action-oriented and stretch their imagination

Experience shipping ML, natural language or voice-based products (not mandatory)
