Desciption

Want to work in one of the most innovative and largest businesses at Amazon? Interested in leading high/impact projects? Amazon’s US Consumables Supply Chain Team is looking for a talented, driven, and highly analytical project manager to help redefine how Amazon fulfills customer demand for Consumables products. This Product Manager will work cross-functionally to deliver operational improvements and incremental profitability for the US Consumables businesses. In particular, this Product Manager will lead Alternative Fulfillment (Vendor Flex and Direct Fulfillment), two sourcing channels that are key parts of both our growth and efficiency plans. Vendor Flex works with our Vendor partners to open a mini-Amazon FC in the Vendor’s warehouse, which cuts out transportation cost and time, while Direct Fulfillment, also called Dropship, works with our Vendors to enable direct to consumer shipping from a Vendor’s warehouse. This Product Manager will also be responsible for working on new Free Cash Flow (FCF) projects that the individual or the rest of the team create.

The Consumables FCF Product Manager will be responsible for creating mechanisms for tracking the progress and performance of his or her FCF projects, scoping new projects and working with the Consumables category teams to execute his or her savings programs. This role will partner across several internal teams (but not limited to): Retail product families/SCOT/Operations/Vendor Managers/Finance. This will also involve collaboration with Amazon's largest vendors in Health & Personal Care (HPC), Grocery, Baby, and Beauty. This leader will be responsible for showcasing the results of these initiatives during updates with senior leadership.

Consumables has a strong legacy for innovation and growth of FCF initiatives, and this Sr. PM will help write the next chapter.
