Responsibilities

Serves as a Management Program Analyst in the Planning and Requirements Group. Provides analysis supporting program and project management, as well as performance information for intern a I and external partners. Identifies problems and proposes solutions. Works under the general direction of a team leader and manager, responsible for programs within a defined area of responsibility.

Provides program/project management analysis. Prepares project schedules. Sets up projects in financial tools and conducts program financial management. Assists in setting up projects to prepare for capitalization, including asset management systems, RCT and DELPHI records. Conducts a variety of program/management studies and analyses in the area of program planning, execution and control (i.e. program/system planning and evaluation, program performance measurement). Based upon data analysis, determines key performance indicators and performance targets. Consolidates and organizes data appropriate for the task, accomplishes analysis of data and prepares reports, presentations and issues papers to assist the program and/or management with decision making. Uses a variety of software tools to complete work assignments, including the Corporate Work Plan (CWP) Portal, Primavera, MS Access and MS Excel. Uses SharePoint for sharing charts and reports. Analyzes data for collaboration, predictive analytics, reporting, and gap analysis, to identify trends/problems or relationships within the data, to identify root cause of problems or predict future outcomes. Conducts analyses in the review or evaluation of proposed program plans, and program activities to ensure proper program integration and conformance to FAA policy, currency, completeness, and adequacy of operations in meeting goals and objectives.

Provides leadership in the assigned program area, within the PIM analyst community, and/or on the team. Provides training/familiarization to PIM analysts, proposes and executes process improvement or collaborate in creation of new products to improve program management. The scope of this position mav include frequent interaction with ES, the field, and headquarters.

Travel Required

Occasional travel - The job may require travel from time- to-time, but not on a regular basis. The travel may be for training or other work-related duties.

Qualifications

To qualify for FG-12, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-G, FG/GS-11 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Examples of specialized experience includes: Strong problem solving and research skills to take statistics and raw data and turn it into usable information. Experience leading others. Experience preparing reports using programs such as Microsoft Access/Excel to create filters, queries and pivot tables. Working knowledge of Oracle databases and Primavera program/project management software. Working knowledge of sound fiscal practices and how to apply them in making business decisions that achieve goals.
