A&P Mechanic - Airline
Perform line maintenance on Embraer, EMB 170, Emb 190, or regional aircraft at line stations including but not limited to dismantling, overhauling, repairing, assembling of all aircraft parts and components
Perform routine releases returning aircraft to service
Properly complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with company, manufacturer and FAA
Reason positions are open: Short-staffed due to normal attrition over the last year and very few backfills
These are at SeaTac working on the line
Compass does line maintenance for Delta Airlines
Must be open to working any shift.
Typically start on night shift to get good hands-on training on the aircraft
Often outside and exposed to the elements
Willing to train on aircraft
Chance to get into airline aviation
Working on modern aircraft systems
Usually will start on nights to learn the aircraft and operation.
3 on 4 off, 4 on 3 off, 9pm-730am on 4s, 530pm-730am on 3s
4 on 3 off, 3 on 4 off, 2pm - 2am (or 3:30am for 3s)
4 x 10s then 3 x 13s, 7 on 7 off
They need to get a SIDA badge, no custom seal needed
2+ years A&P experience maintaining aircraft
Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate
Must have own set of basic tools
Willing to work nights
Positive attitude towards productivity, safety and quality maintenance
Available to work shifts and overtime
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 70lbs, bend, stoop , crawl and kneel frequently in confined spaces
Potential for overtime and training at different sites
