Perform janitorial tasks as requested by Supervisor.
Perform all duties as facility driver.
Respond to requests for services per assignments of the Supervisor with responsibility for completion of work order forms.
Provide general maintenance, minor construction, and repairs for the physical plant.
Provide general maintenance and services to equipment i.e. vehicles (oil, gasoline), pool etc.
Report areas in need of maintenance/repairs.
Provide maintenance/landscaping services to the grounds, lawns, trees, bushes, etc.
Pick up merchandise/equipment in the community.
Provide services i.e. set up chairs/tables; direct parking for functions sponsored by the facility.
Respond to emergency situations (on call) for snow removal, etc.
Maintain the facility's buildings and environment in accord with standards of regulatory agencies.
Perform other responsibilities as requested such as care of soda machine/care of pool area and mail.
Maintain central supply room, fill orders and distribute supplies under direction of supervisor.
Perform all other assigned duties.
Knowledge of maintenance and repair demonstrated competency and/or related experiences in maintenance work.
Valid NYS Drivers license.
Must have experience in electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry.
Must be able to read and write English.
Acceptable clearance checks for State Central Register, Driver license and fingerprinting as required by the program.
Compliance with health regulations for physical/mantoux testing
