Job Description

We are looking for an Inside Sales Manager, Business Development who will be responsible managing a centralized inside sales team supporting our new Business Development initiative. The Business Development Manager will lead a business development team of inside sales experts focused on supporting accounts and business opportunities nationally. Working with our Sales Leadership, the Business Development Manager will focus on developing new business, as well as retaining and developing business with existing customers.

This position will work out of an office location to be determined. The ideal candidate will live near a city with enough population density to support a sales office.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage centralized team of inside sales people supporting new business development nationally
  • Provide day-to-day management including mentoring, coaching, skills development, tools utilization (CRM), bonus plans, and performance management
  • Help create, develop and close related sales opportunities
  • Lead and drive team to achieve National revenue goals
  • Work collaboratively with existing team and Sales Leadership to support customers’ needs
  • Deliver prepared sales presentations, utilizing support material describing products or services, to help existing and potential customers
  • Explain and demonstrate GCG capabilities, services or products, and answer questions from customers or prospects
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with manufacturer partners
  • Own and manage CRM and forecast for inside sales team
  • Manage time effectively to achieve specific objectives daily, weekly and monthly
  • Train inside sales people on infrastructure products and services, cross sell and upsell opportunities
  • Responsible for Technology updates/refreshes
  • Develop sales metrics to assess productivity and determine areas for future growth

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • 3-5 years’ experience managing inside sales teams
  • Highly energetic and results driven individual
  • Travel occasionally nationally
  • Proven track record of people development and sales results
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Results driven with excellent time management, organizational and overall execution skills
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Project, Power Point, Excel, and Word
  • Manufacturing/distribution experience is preferred
