Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions: Assist in the planning and execution Marketing events, which may include multi-day conferences, air shows, galas, major sporting/hospitality events, multi-day employee off-site meetings, internal meetings and luncheons.

• Coordinate dinner and hotel reservations
• Order materials for events
• Assist with shipping and packaging materials/gifts for events
• Assist with customer registration and badges
• Provide on-site support for local events
• Assist team with streamlining process
• Update templates
• Update internal customer contact database
• Track event costs
• Process invoices
• Assist in 6S the office and storage space

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor or masters degree in Hospitality, Business management, or a closely related degree.
• 8 cumulative GPA or higher at the time of application and it must be on the submitted resume
• Strong written and verbal skills necessary to interact with vendors, internal customers, and external customers
• Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work for the duration of the internship
• Must be able to work at least 20 hours for a least 14-16 week Spring internship
